A pottery class led me to wonder what it would be like to create my own tiles. I began with a mosaic made from shells, sea glass, and stones collected from nearby beaches, which now hangs in my kitchen. Since then, I’ve created a number of pieces, including a collaborative installation of mosaic sea creatures and decorative cinder blocks for the Bowers Beach Maritime Museum. I don’t currently have mosaics in stock, but I’m open to custom commissions.
